NHBS Coordinates Sale of Parcel Room

Parcel Room, a pack and ship business located at 1465 Woodbury Avenue,Portsmouth has been sold by Jeff Ballantyne to Ryan Boccelli and Jason Newman. The transaction was brokered by Ed Settino, Business Broker with New Hampshire Business Sales, Inc. based in Pembroke, NH. Financing was provided by The Provident Bank.

Parcel Room has been family-owned and managed since 1985 and was being run by the second generation at the time of sale. The business offers complete packing and shipping solutions to a diversity of customers. It can pack literally anything and ship all over the world. The store is an Authorized Shipping Center for UPS, FedEx, DHL and US mail as a USS Approved Retail Location. Additionally, it is the lead store in PackFreight Network.

Ryan Boccelli said he plans to build on the success the Parcel Room has achieved and take advantage of synergies with his other business, Rate Liner, focusing on warehousing, fulfillment and transportation.

“By combining both companies, we now have the technology customers look for, while providing a fleet of vehicles that can deliver anything, anywhere (literally) with full order fulfillment completed within our warehouse network” stated Boccelli. “In addition, we plan to expand on the Parcel Room Specialty Antique Solution by adding ecommerce solutions to online auctions and final mile delivery for complex shipments through the Parcel Room’s customer network and Rate Liner’s residential delivery fleet.”

NHBS President, Leon Parker, Honored for Years of Service

Public service has been a core value of N.H. Business Sales since its founding in the 1970s by Stewart Lamprey, then a commercial real estate broker based in the Lakes Region.

Over the weekend during the traditional Town Meeting period in N.H., Leon Parker, the president of NHBS, was honored by the town of Henniker for his long term service to the community.

Through the years, Parker has served on the Board of Selectmen, Zoning Board of Adjustment, Capital Improvement Project, Road Management Committee, Budget Advisory Committee, Selectmen Representative to the Planning Board.

Parker began his work with NHBS under Stewart Lamprey, of Moultonboro, who served not only his town but the State of New Hampshire as Speaker of the House of Representatives and then President of the NH Senate.
